Assignment and acceptance
A cleaning that exists is not yet a cleaning that will happen. Between the two sits dispatch: Suitiee offers the job to a cleaning company, the company accepts it, and a named cleaner is put against it.
What you need
- A confirmed cleaning with a window.
- A cleaning company whose service zones cover the unit's district.
- Somebody on that company's roster who is available in the window.
Step 1 — The job is offered
The cleaning is offered to one company at a time. The order is most-specific-preference first: a compound's own crew before the operator's usual company, and a host's own explicit choice above both — it is the most specific preference anybody has expressed.
A company with no zone covering the unit is never offered the job. An empty zone list is an empty job list.
Step 2 — The offer expires after 30 minutes
Thirty minutes. When it expires the offer is marked declined and passed to the next company in line. Nothing in the provider panel matters more than answering inside that window.
Step 3 — A cleaner is named
Once a company accepts, they put a person against it. The list they choose from is ordered by who is nearest and least busy; anyone already booked at that hour is marked and listed last, and anyone off shift is marked as such.
A women-only unit lists only women cleaners and refuses anyone else. That is a refusal, not a warning.
Step 4 — The cleaner is told
The named cleaner gets a message with the unit, the date and the time, and a link that opens their own screen. See Getting started as a cleaner.
When nobody answers
The job is offered onward. If no company in the district takes it, the cleaning sits with no cleaner and appears in the cleans with no cleaner count on the board once its window has opened. That is the point at which a person has to intervene.
When it goes wrong
